• any other data particular to the study you are taking part in. This will be clearly outlined in an information sheet given to you along with a consent form for you to read and sign before taking part in any of our studies.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

• Internal record keeping.

• For keeping you updated with the latest Dovetailed news.

• We may use the information to improve our products and services.

• If you are a participant in one of our studies your data will be anonymised and used to inform the research. More information on this will be clearly outlined in an information sheet given to you before you agree to take part in any of our studies.

• From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you about participating in another user study, however we will only do this if you have expressly given us your consent to do this.

 

The data we collect is not used for any additional purpose, such as to profile those who engage with our services.

 

Sharing your data

We do not share your data with any third parties for advertising. If you are a participant in one of our studies any data collected on you will be anonymised before we share results with our clients. If we have any photos, videos or audio of you from your participation we will ask your permission before sharing or publishing any materials of this nature.

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. All data processors that Dovetailed holds contracts with are compliant under new GDPR regulation.
