With so much written about AI at the moment it feels positively surreal to be working on it. As a design consultancy it is our job to make the complex comprehensible. However, comprehending the complex world of the AI projects we have been working on has left Dave wondering what to think.
This is where the design process that is second nature to us comes to our rescue. We need to understand the tech but not get bogged down in the detail. We need our empathy shoes tied up tight to understand the customer’s problem and how this scary AI world will not make their colleague jobless but make them a more efficient machine.
As we are all watched over by this bot, it is my job to make it human and intractable, synchronising real world routines with machine routines.
