As a company in tech, we at Dovetailed often spend time wondering what the future of technology will look like. AI, blockchain, IoT – developments in these areas happen so quickly that one can be left in the dust. Yet how many of these will stick? At CWIC 2018, the theme was Thinking Beyond the Hype.
We attended different sessions and keynotes that brought up thought-provoking questions and industry insights. Some highlights were Ros Singleton’s touching keynote on the human impact of technology, Dean Dobb’s talk on 5G as just another G, and the delicious vegan food served at dinner.
Thank you to Cambridge Wireless for inviting us – we had a great time and learned a great deal. Look forward to Dovetailed releasing projects in some of these hyped areas soon!
